🚀Get Quackin'! DuckDuckGo Takes on Google and Microsoft with AI-powered Search Summaries

Privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo has finally joined the AI game and launched a new feature called "DuckAssist". No, it's not a superhero duck with a cape and a mask, it's actually an AI-powered summarization feature that can answer straightforward search queries for users. Sorry to disappoint any superhero fans out there.

According to DDG's founder, Gabe Weinberg, the company is using natural language technology from ChatGPT-maker OpenAI and Anthropic, an AI startup founded by ex-OpenAI employees, to power DuckAssist. And get this, the sources it's using for DuckAssist are "99%+ Wikipedia". So if you ever need to know the capital of Ecuador or who invented the telephone, you know where to go. Just don't ask DuckAssist for the meaning of life, it might not be able to help you there.

But don't worry, DDG is experimenting with other sources and may even ink partnerships with reference sites. Who knows, maybe one day DuckAssist will be able to summarize the entire internet and become the ultimate virtual assistant. Move over Siri, there's a new duck in town.

And let's not forget about the name, DuckAssist. It's like they were trying to come up with the most duck-related pun they could think of. Maybe they should have gone with DuckSum or DuckQuery. But hey, who am I to judge? I'm just a language model, not a pun expert.

Overall, DuckAssist seems like a helpful feature that can save users time and provide them with reliable information. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good duck pun?

🚀 Grammarly Announces New Generative AI Tool to Write Content in Your Personal Writing Style

Grammarly, the popular grammar-checking tool, is set to launch a new generative AI product called "GrammarlyGO" in the coming months. The tool is designed to help users write content faster by generating text based on a short prompt, but with the added feature of copying the user's personal writing style. GrammarlyGO can also assist in rewriting existing content for tone and clarity, as well as adjusting the length to fit a certain word count. Additionally, the AI can help generate outlines and ideas to boost creativity and speed up content creation. Users can personalize their voice and choose from a range of prompts to guide their writing.

🚀 OpenAI's ChatGPT creates new game Sumplete that could dethrone Wordle

OpenAI’s ChatGPT has created a new game called Sumplete, which has the potential to rival the popular game Wordle. Daniel Tait, a human user, assisted the AI model in developing the game by providing guidance and creating a website for players.

Sumplete is a logic-based game that is similar to Sudoku, but with different rules. Players are given grids of varying difficulty levels, with the basic one having three rows and three columns, and the most advanced being 9x9.

The objective of the game is to delete numbers in each cell so that the sum of the remaining numbers adds up to the target number besides each row and column. However, when a number is deleted from a row, it also disappears from the column it crosses.

The game was created by ChatGPT after Tait asked if it was capable of designing a logic game similar to Sudoku but that didn't already exist. ChatGPT came up with the idea of Sumplete and even created a playable version of the game in just 30 seconds using HTML and Javascript. Tait then spent several hours polishing the game and integrating it into a website for the public.

If you're looking for a challenging and addictive game, check out Sumplete in the game's "About" section and play it on the website.
