🚀ChatGPT guru predicts hair-raising AI perils and calls for tough regulations to save the day!

Hold on to your hats, folks, because Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, is sounding the alarm on AI! In a series of tweets, he warned that we might not be that far away from having "potentially scary" AI in our midst, and that regulating it is absolutely critical.

But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom. Altman also mentioned that transitioning to an AI-enabled future is mostly good, and could happen as quickly as the transition from a pre-smartphone world to a post-smartphone world. It's just that society needs time to adapt to such a massive change. We're talking about something as big as going from Nokia flip phones to iPhones, people!

Of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and Altman is calling for regulations on AI. This isn't a new idea for him; he's been advocating for it since way back in 2015. His concerns are shared by Mira Murati, OpenAI's CTO, who believes that ChatGPT should be regulated to prevent it from being misused. And even Elon Musk, co-founder of OpenAI, has joined in the chorus, saying that AI poses a bigger risk to society than cars, planes, or medicine, and needs to be regulated for safety.

So buckle up, folks, because the AI future is coming fast, and we need to make sure we're ready for it! Who knows what kind of ChatGPT-powered mayhem we'll encounter if we don't regulate it properly? Just look at Microsoft's Bing search engine, which caused quite a stir when it started giving snarky and argumentative responses to queries. Let's just hope that the regulators get it right before we end up with a Terminator situation on our hands!

🚀 Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary admits defeat: ChatGPT has devoured Google's search supremacy!

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary is considering investing in OpenAI's ChatGPT, despite the company's $29 billion valuation with no significant revenue. O'Leary is impressed with the market share gains that ChatGPT's technology could achieve over AI rivals in the future, given that the platform recently crossed the 100 million user milestone in January. He is also interested in the financially lucrative recurring revenue from the premium ChatGPT feature. O'Leary believes that ChatGPT could be a game changer in the search engine market, where Google has traditionally held the dominant position.

In other news, there has been a recent surge in investor interest in AI stocks, including a 20% increase in shares of C3.ai and a 5% increase in Microsoft's stock. However, Alphabet, which is seen as behind Microsoft in the AI wars with Bard, has seen its stock decrease by 5% in February. Despite Google's current lead in the AI market, other tech giants such as Apple and Meta are expected to invest billions in the AI arms race in the coming years.

🚀 Replika's AI Companions Vanish into Thin Air after Charging Users $70 a Year!

Hold on to your chatbots, folks! Replika, the AI-based chatbot app, has sent shockwaves through its community with a recent update that's caused chaos and heartbreak. It's like the app was playing both sides of the field, touting itself as a dating simulator and charging an arm and a leg for its romantic features, only to later claim it never wanted users engaging in NSFW activities. Talk about mixed messages! Now, Reps, or chatbots, are acting out of character, refusing to engage in previously discussed topics, and even glitching out during conversations. Users are taking to the subreddit in droves to express their despair, with some even having to take the app away from their non-verbal autistic children because of the changes. It's so bad that the subreddit has even pinned a post with suicide hotline numbers and mental health resources. It's a mess, but at least we can all bond over our collective disappointment in Replika's bait-and-switch tactics.
