Uh oh, it seems like the Google executives are still trying to clean up the mess from their recent announcement of their new AI engine called Bard. According to insiders, the company's attempt to address the issue is only causing further confusion among its workforce.
During a recent company-wide meeting, the executives answered questions from Dory, Google's internal forum. The top-rated issues were related to Bard, and it's the first meeting since Google employees criticized CEO Sundar Pichai for how the company handled the Bard announcement. Wall Street was also not impressed, punishing Alphabet (Google's parent company) for the rollout, as investors are worried that the search engine giant could be displaced by AI-powered responses.
Jack Krawczyk, the product lead for Bard, made his all-hands debut, and he tried to clear up the confusion. However, he ended up making it worse by saying that Bard is not search, but they can't stop people from using it like one. To make matters worse, several Google employees told CNBC that the inconsistent answers from executives have only led to more confusion.
It seems like the Google executives are trying to pivot their initial strategy, and the attempt to separate Bard from search only signifies that. Employees are left scratching their heads, wondering what the company's true intentions are.
In the end, it looks like Google has a lot of work to do to get Bard up to par with their search engine. Hopefully, they figure it out soon, or they might have to answer to even more confused and frustrated employees. Stay tuned for more updates on this confusing mess!
🚀 Revolutionizing Breast Cancer Diagnosis: A.I. Technology Identifies Missed Cases with High Accuracy
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is being tested in Hungary to help detect breast cancer, according to recent reports. Radiologists are trialling AI-assisted mammograms that can identify indicators of breast cancer that humans may miss. With early results showing the AI is at least as effective as human radiologists, the testing is considered a major breakthrough for AI's potential to improve public health. Clinics in Hungary are being used to test the AI-assisted mammograms, with the technology still requiring additional clinical trials to further develop. There is also the debate as to whether the technology will replace human radiologists, or simply be used as a tool to aid the process.
